    Hi everyone,

    some of you might know I'm a buyer for a medium sized drugstore on the east coast. I was hoping some of you could give me some feedback that could help me with some new products we are bringing in.

    Have any of you heard of Auric Blends perfume oils and do you use them regularly?

    Do you use their incense or alter candles?

    Where do you normally purchase these products?

    Would you purchase them at your local drug store if the price was competitive?

    What would/do you pay for .33fl oz perfume oil?

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Now on to Burt's Bees
    What products would you like to see your local drug store carry in this line?
    What price range would you pay for these products?
    Has anyone tried the make up they make?
    Is there anything negative about the company (besides the fact that they don't recycle the lip balm tubes anymore) that you would want buyers to know before we bring them in?
    What are you looking for in make up, health and beauty aids, in general?
    I thank you all so very much for your time helping me out with this info. It will greatly help me to make better decisions and bring the consumers what they want.
    Peas,
    Jen
    Dunno about how to price things - it'd have to be based on what you've paid for them. My local drug store has a variety of Burt's Bees stuff, it's such a great brand...
    i dont know anything about the other line of products you listed.. sorry.
    Now on to Burt's Bees
    What products would you like to see your local drug store carry in this line? the tubs of lip balm, the shimmery glossy stuff in like rose-ish colors... not just the regular clear....
    What price range would you pay for these products? i dunno... 4-5 bucks?
    Has anyone tried the make up they make? nope, but i bets its good for your skin (or at least less harmful).
    Is there anything negative about the company (besides the fact that they don't recycle the lip balm tubes anymore) that you would want buyers to know before we bring them in? i dont think so....
    What are you looking for in make up, health and beauty aids, in general? i want some PURE aloe vera.... they dont sell it ANYWHERE, and i have trouble getting the aloe outta my plant... bleh!
    you guys should also get those earwax candles! those work REALLY well... they suck all the gross stuff up and outta your ear... they are great. really cleansing.
    hope this helps!
    I have alot of auric blends oils, they are wonderful, and pretty mellow since they are blends and not just essential oils, the threadshop around me used to carry auric, but sadly they got sued and got stuck with 45,000 in taxes, so no more kynd store:( I would defnitly buy them at a drug store, our convenience store sells incense and oils and stuff, i love it.
    Both Auric Blends and Burt's Bees are great products...I love Auric Blends Majik oil, and their amber patchouli...I pay anywhere from 7-9 dollars for these depending on the type of store they are in.
    Burt's Bees is my fave bodycare line; I don't use anything else. There facial moisturizers are great (the marshmallow is the best IMO), the sage deodorant ROCKS, their lotions, and baby products are great too. I use the lip tint regularly, and have used the lipstick on occasion...the tinted moisturizer is good, but I don't use that type of stuff very often. The prices are kinda high (can't remember what I pay though; Burt's is worth it to me at just about any price).
    I used to be a buyer/manager for a bodycare dept. (8 yrs.) in a large natural food store in where I live...what a fun job!! I really miss it...had to leave because of family stuff. Would love to find a job again in that field...so many wonderful natural products out there.
    I don't shop in drug stores because in general 100% of the products contain parabens (propylparaben, methylparaben,etc) which lead to ovarian cysts and a whole lotta other uncomfortable things. I imagine it would be nice to have a few products in there that don't (ie.burts bees) but drugstores lost me as a customer long ago and I can't see coming back for one product line.
    I've not used Auric blend before, but I have heard they were good quality. I do however use Burts Bees. The moisture tint is great for dry skin in the summer and gives a light coverage. The lipsticks are good too though they don't have my color anymore. I really like the orange cleansing gel and the citus scrubbing grains.
    The moisturizers aren't bad either. I've used and still do evening primrose overnight creme, marshmallow vanishing creme, and carrot day creme. My skin is very dry and these are very hydrating. Comfrey salve is great too for cuts. Its a good line , you should carry it.
