I told everyone right away with my pregnancies. I felt that I wanted them to know, because if something were to happen, that I would need all of the emotional support that I could get. Plus, it was just way too exiciting NOT to tell!

My daughter just had her baby on July 19th---his name is Kyan Summit...
he is so beautiful...

She met her husband at the String Cheese Incident show in Chicago, New years 2003....

I call it the LOVE Incident!

 

I'm a brand new mom., and I couldnt be happier. I never knew I could love someone so much, and just having this little guy need me is so great. being a parent is so rewarding and fun. Your going to love it, congrats!!!!

Hippychickmommy, I really appreciated what you said because I realized that's exactly how I feel. I think I was just letting fear hold me back but I really am close to my family and would love their support no matter what happens. After reading what you wrote, I called my Dad and Stepmom and told them. They were so thrilled and happy that I decided to tell them sooner than later. They said they would put positive thoughts into my pregnancy!
