I want to give myself a little tattoo but I can't find out how to do this anywhere. Both my brother and my sister have home made tattoos(they have gotten them fixed since) but I don't want to ask them...So if anyone knows how, it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Shastina
Why would you want to give yourself a homemade tatt when 2 of your siblings have had theirs fixed? DIY tatts look like crap, are totally unsanitary and just a bad idea in general....save up and get a good one at a clean and reputable studio.
sounds like a bad idea. you'll almost certainly be unhappy with it, and everyone who sees it will assume it is a prison tat. if you are hell bent on it, i'm sure you could find some instructions on the net.
if your underage just hunt around for some jackass that tattoos underage kids. Generally the tattoos suck, but might look better than a DIY.
hmm,too bad, I already did it. I was gonna check the forum before I did it, but I hadn't plan on doing it today. My friend said she knew what she was doing...but it didnt seem very efficiant. It'll probaly last a week or two...it's pretty crappy. And I had wanted to do it because my brother and sisters both turned out pretty good. they were thick and lasted forever...like tattoos are supposed to. whatever.
if they don't have a tat gun, they can't begin to "know what they are doing." Even half the bozos out there WITH guns will do stupid stuff.. like Tigger's Tats in Dallas. He may hire good people, but don't let him touch you. My spouse has some funky yellow experiment of Tiggers messing up his skin.
My stepdad got his first tat (homemade) when he was my age in the school library. Yup... Basically (dont take my word for it, its just to give you an idea) you have a bottle of black india ink (obviously it'll look blueish on your skin) a needle, and some thread. thread the needle and dip the thread in the ink. basically... you sew it into your skin. obviously you don't leave the thread in there... you just kinda poke holes with the needle and let the ink-covered thread trail behind it... yeah i wouldn't reccommend doing it this way... it's much safer to do it the professional way.
