N.J. Beach Cactus

    This is a wild cactus the blooms beautifuly in June. It can grow in sand and survive drought, a tough plant. [​IMG]

    beautiful. I didn't realize until recently that there are cacti and succulents that are native to the eastern us. There is something like a prickly pear that is native to michigan here for me, im guessing this thing is native over there. beautiful blooms!!!

    is the barrens a place in NJ?

    Its called the Pine Barrens or correctly: The PinelandsIts an area of vy sandy soils plenty of rain, unique vegitation.
