Damn I just got back from the System of A Down concert in Houston. Fucking best damn show to hit Houston in decades. We had 7th row tickets right by the speakers. Mars Volta opened. They were good but System was the shit. Everyone on their feet jumping, head banging, music was fucking loud. Awesome light effects. Wow! They even dedicated a song to that lady whose out in Crawford whose son died in Iraq. I thought that was cool. Anyways, my hearing isn't great right now but I felt like sharing. I'm sure your all dully amused.;)

I saw them, too, a few weeks ago. Amazing show! They're really great live. And yeah, my ears were ringing for about 48 hours after that (very unpleasant!). Next time I will wear earplugs when inside a huge indoor concrete arena ;)

yea my friends went to see them too at that show. My girlfriend was gonna go up there but the guy who was going back into our town to pick her up got in a wreck in his friend's mom's car..he was drunk..so she didnt get to go. Man. It sucked because she had gotten in a wreck that day too but not drinking. So anyways i got to hear it over the phone but it sounded like itd be bad ass in person. Where was it at the Woodlands Pavilion?

Did they play a lot of new shit? If they do, then I'm not bothering.

I was a HUGE system fan a couple years back, always wanted to see them. Hell, I'd still like to see them play their old shit. But I don't think I could deal with twelve year old hot topic fanboys screeching along to BYOB.

^ awsome. hahah. I sort of agree. I mean their new music is so so but their true work was in the begining. With sugar and know, soil, pluck, suite pee and war and such. "i wanna fuck my way into the garden" thats just fucking bad ass. That was the first song i heard by them, suite pee. After hearing him say that one phrase i was hooked. hahah. but yea i definatly like their older work and even some of their work from toxicity but not as much as before it. Anyways.

It was a 26 song set. They played all the classics like Sugar and Chop Suey. But yeah they played the following songs from their new album.
    1.) BYOB
    2.) Cigaro
    3.) Revenga
    4.) Lost In Hollywood
    5.) Violent Pornography
.....and they started to play Soldier Side in front of this big ass curtain with the spotlight showing Darons silouette, but then the curtain dropped and they went into BYOB. It was kick ass. I didn't see anyone under 14. And yeah it was at the Cynthia Woods Pavillion.
