I saw two amazing bands last night in LA......the first was "Revolutionary Side Effects", they were amazing....a three peice band...drums, guitar, and bass.....they were brilliant....in the midst of some beautiful originals, came Phish's "Bathtub-Gin", and so well played....instead of all the crazy piano at the beggining that Page usually does, the guitar plsyer used his wammy pedal all crazy it was just perfect.....after the show the drummer said he played for me and my friend (who was rockin a Phish-t)....it was awesome.....the whole show loosley reminded me of Phish.....

THe second band was called "BIg Organ Trio"....bass, drums, and Organ....this band kicked ass....the organ player was a virtuoso...the drummer was reminescent of old jazz players, a very basic kit, but beautiful stylings....the bass player was a holding down that low end like no one else....after they finished the set.....we all got up and begged for one more....so they started this jam of this Jane's Addiction song, then segued into Dark Star, by the Grateful Dead, and it was amazing!

both bands are unstoppable, if they continue what they're doing, nothing will stop them from making it, except themselves....(i.e breakup)
