To answer the question: not in political correctness, but yes, I do believe in respect for other people

 

It depends who I'm talking to I guess. I would probably be politically correct to someone who would pick up on it if I wasnt being correct, but to most people... I just say whatever I guess.

 

that's not even nearly close what the modern political correctness has come to stand for... it has generally come to stand for many multifaceted political stances that embrace compassion and respect in seeking a progressive political sythesis of all points of view with the hopes of evolving the many desperate realities in the world

it generally imbibes the broadest perspectives in considering topical matters...

true though, political correctness has become a weapon of demonization against those who hold different or unevolved positions and so the concept when divorced from cosmic realities becomes what it seeks to guard against

 

'political correctness' i have read is a joke told by 'liberal' people as a 'attack' on there bum crunching earnestness.... Just like the 'big bang' theory [it not being a 'bang' and not being 'big'] .. 'We' have all fallen for one hell of a joke for being polite reasonable and respectful of those around us.

So no i am not 'politicaly correct'

since political correctness doesn't apply in any usable way to my particular class, i feel ambivalent towards the whole thing. no one has to hold their tongue about anything i am, so i don't see the fairness. however, i don't like to be rude to people, so i'm not.

i wasn't insulted. what i meant was that people rarely think anything about the sensibilities of people like me, the things that come outta people's mouths are appalling! so since no one feels like PC applies to me, i'm kinda ambivalent about it, since the fairness factor is lacking. but being rude is just not the thing.
