    Shadows turn black eyes
    to blacker onyx.
This is the breath we share
    coupled with smoke
    and cinnamon spirals of
    honey soaked skin.

    You are wearing the scales
    of an irradescent lizard,
    a glistening gem
    in the rotational sunshine,
    a transformation
    in the firelight
    where I crouch stirring
    the soil smelling coffee.

    This gift, eternal fluid,
    the only blood I know
    how to pour for you,
    I will bear to you
    in a mug of
    pure dimension,
    pewter ore.

    And my chaotic
    intention will beset
    the strangest patterns on
    your chest--scars
    that turn the night a
    deeper black,
    your blood a darker
    shade of bruised plum,
    our breath a
    softer hum of candescence.

Do we respond to beauty, by silence... speechlessly we view,
yet touch not with our words. Losing ourselves in closeness.

I really enjoyed your offering, thank you :)

It is good to lose the frivility of speech within the silence of contemplation.
    Dream always

    you're brilliant
how'd you, where'd you, why'd you, who'd you, when'd you.. the only metaphor i can come close to is the same one i left before, you put the universe on the tip of a needle and thread it through blackholes, with sublime grace.
and in the end, my heart cares only to try to sip the paradox you pour

you're getting stronger and stronger perfecting your craft… the first and last stanza are so incredibly wonderful, not that the others weren't as well, but that full circle effect was felt between them and I loved the repetitious elements you used… thx for sharing this inspiring piece :)
