I presume you mean The Grateful Dead?

    Who could replace Jerry? :(

The dead is the remaining members of the Grateful Dead, and I can tell you the combos who have filled Jerry's position, if not his shoes.
Ratdog and P&F have heavy schedules, and Mark said he thinks the doggie will be through Colorado this fall. (we try to catch up with each other: I know him through another band. Sweet guy)
Given that, the chances of a Dead tour are tiny.
I'm afraid your source is wishful thinking!

Barry Sless of David Nelson Band was also at RR with Herring, sort of the Warren Haynes position. Sless is like Kimock...very astral and spacey with a LOT of talent backing it up.
    Amazing pedal steel player.
Millownotme, there is plenty of life after Dead! see the music forum for jam bans, and start your shopping list.
Or pick up a Relix magazine. www.relix.com
