Pagan means you beleive in more than one God right?
I am Pagan now, been questioning Christianity for a while. If the Bible holds any truth, then there is more than one God/dess. Minor details in Genises give that away.

Yes I could. Genesis 1:26- God Spoke "Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature"- Notice God said us and our, rather than me and my.
Genesis 3:22- God said " The man has become like one of us, capable of knowing everything ranging from good to evil. What if he now should reach out and take fruit from the Tree of Life and eat, and live forever? No this cannot happen!"
One of us. Who are we? Some explain it away as the Trinity- God Jesus and the Holy Ghost, but I read something today that makes more sense -there it is http://www.caw.org/articles/otherpeople.html

Well technically the belief in more than one God is polytheisim.
Though yes indeed most branches of paganism are polytheistic.

Yeah do agree with you :)
That and 'have no other Gods but me, for I am a jealous God.'
Well you wouldn't even have to mention it if you were the only one, and there'd be no reason to get jealous.

It makes more sense to consider there are masculine and feminine aspects/enities of divine power. As all creatures have a mother and father (well pretty much all, aside from bacteria and such), and it makes a balance, like yin & yang.

Pagan isnt really a label... wtf is up with this hype about people crying about labels all the time? Pagan is just the name of a spiritual path one can choose.

If it wasnt for "labels" you wouldnt know what to call your plants, or anything about your heritage. Which is very important.

    Very true :)

There's a world of diffrence between a standard term for something, and overblown stereotypes.

So yeah come on, embrace it, no need to be ashamed or anything.

Besides it's so much easier than having to explain your beliefs in great detail every time. At least you can just say 'pagan' and people get a general idea. There's also a sense of solidarity.

I really enjoyed that article, even dug up a bible and flipped through Genesis to see if the information was accurate. Now I'm curious if there are any Christians out there that believe other Gods exist but choose to follow only the God of the bible. If there are they would probably be a bit more tolerant toward other religions instead of thinking satans behind everything non-christian. Thanks for sharing that link by the way.
