    Indecision

    Dark-eyed doe standing in the road;
    perplexedly she stares, alarmed,
    as shining orbs of indecision hover in the night.

    Confused, she dithers back and forth;
    split second decisions collide in her mind
    and her wavering legs tell the tale.

    The innocence of the ignorantly natural
    cannot hold a candle to the new electric lights;
    and soon nothing remains but a broken body in a ditch.

    Surprised that nobody has commented on this one! Fantastic piece, tho… really liked the flow and the subtle wordplay. Also, the images that express the story was perfect. Thx for this one; enjoyed thoroughly!

    Thats so sad :(

    I love those bright beautiful brown eyes....

    I love the way you wrote this, very elegant, and tragic as well.
