Ok You know those wooden pipes ur grandpa would use to smoke tobacoo out of, well i got one of those, could I use it for mj, and if so how would I clean the resin out to make it spotless?
i guess it would work technically, but ther'es no screen so the mj might go thru the pipe into your mouth. i don't know how you could clean it. glass is the absolute best way to go, but if you can't get one, a little metal one would be pretty cheap. you can always order one online, just tell 'em you're 18.
well to go along with the topic, is there a way to not suck all the goddamn ash into your mouth when you smoke out of a glass bowl, i like the smoke much better, but most of the time i smoke out of metal just for the screen... do they have screens or anything for glass? thanks
i never get ash into my mouth with my glass piece. hmm don't know why you would. you could cut a screen really small to cover the hole, yeah. my buddy cracked his glass piece, right around the hole so he got a screen that's like a cone that sits down into the hole, it works i guess.
you don't...me and my friends always bitch about it...maybe we just suck too hard or something?...i dunno...but yeah i was thinking about just sticking a screen in there or something
I was having that problem with my glass. I cleaned it out last night and now it works great. In fact, I believe all that resin was trapping some THC on its way to my lungs because I wasn't getting nearly as high on my pipe as I used to and I just thought it was a tolerance build up, but after cleaning my piece I get better, cleaner, and definitely more potent hits. Soak it in alcohol or witchhazel and get some cue tips or pipe cleaners in there. Don't worry about saving the resin. It was pretty nasty coming out of there. Hope this helps you.
the wooden pipe will work. it's gonna taste nasty though and be very hard to clean. getting ash in your mouth? the bowl you are using prolly has a large hole in it. try not sucking so hard. you could use a metal screen. some places also sell glass screens. they are like $3 though and prolly get lost easy. just smoke outta the pipe a lot and resin will make the hole smaller. and don't suck hard when it's almost beat.

My dad has a tobacco pipe that me and my friend used a few days ago, we didn't suck any MJ in our mouth or anything, and it tasted just fine. The only problem was that the bowl is really deep and substantially larger than a normal bowl, so you had to stick the lighter way down in there, but it really wasn't a big issue.
I never get ash in my mouth from glass. Your pipe must just have too big of a hole in the bowl. Hoever, when I smoke from woodies, I almost always get ash in my mouth. The only problem I ahve with woodies is that sometimes the bowls are too big. And getting the ash in my mouth.
Heehee i use a wooden tobacco pipe. It is my baaaybeee. The bowl is really big, but that is no problem. I just pack more ganja in there. Like a gram. Heehee.
with glass suck slower, and watch thru the glass how much you have left so you know when its cashed without tasting ash
