Loews Theater to Stop Running Fahrenheit 9/11?

    Apparently, Loews Theater is owned by someone with close ties to the Bush Administration. I've heard rumors that Loews is pulling "Fahrenheit 9/11" because of this.

    Anyone know anything about this?

    It only played in two theater complexes in this entire state.

    Personally, I think it is pretty stupid on the theater's part because they are losing $ big time on this one. Then again, perhaps they have better interests to protect. I still think that it is wrong, but that is why I drove 100 miles to go see it.

    The movie has some pretty not-nice things to say about the Carlye group, who own Loews.

    i just saw this movie at loewes in NYC, so *shrugs* i guess they havent pulled it.
