Spoof variation

I just designed a new spoof, I am not sure if its better or worse, or about the same(I was too high to tell whethor or not it smelled like weed in the air)

All you gotta do is buy activated carbon(not too powdered) Walmart sells it in there aquarium section, or go to a pet store.

Steps
1.Put a drier sheet on the outside of the spoof covering the end hole, and put a rubber band around it to hold it in place.
2.Springkle a few layers of carbon into the tube, and then push down another drier sheet in some way creating a pouch.
3. repeat step 2 a few times(Creating more and more layers of carbon) I did 5 layers.
4.Cruch up 1 drier sheet and stuff it in, to secure the last layer.
5.Use it.

 

what does the carbon do? just dryer sheets always worked for me. but i use a paper towel roll since its bigger and holds more sheets...

 

Activated carbon is a type of air scrubber, its used in odor filters for aquarium tanks, and overgrow uses it in there guide to build an air scrubber.(http://www.overgrow.com/growfaq/1509)
The guide on overgrow says the walmart carbon is crap(I went to a pet store, but I honestly think walmarts would do the trick)

i'd see it being better than a dryer sheet for the fact that many growers use carbon filters on their exhaust and it leaves no scent what so ever

 

Makes sense. I work at a pet store, so I can get some easy. I'll have to try it out.

I don't know what a "spoof" is, but I hope that this doesn't involve inhaling through a dryer sheet. Nasty chemicals.

haha, no, mike, it's just a toilet paper roll filled with dryer sheets, you exhale through it to absorb the scent of the marijuana you're smoking. Adding carbon would presumably make it more effective

by the by...sometimes when I'm really stoned, I forget to move the spoof away from my mouth and end up inhaling through it...am I fucking myself up real bad by doing that?

 

I just smoked with about 9 people, and 8 of the people like the new spoof more, and 1 person said he didn't trust it, and refused to use it(But thats normal for him, lol)

so ya it works pretty good, and time will tell whethor it makes them last longer or not. Maybe I can cut down on my drier sheet budget ;-)

 

Thanks for the info. I don't know exactly what chemicals are in dryer sheets, but breathing them sounds mildly risky.

 

seems like you could make a longer lasting "spoof" then... out of like pvc or some harder longer lasting plastic and fill it with the activated carbon... who knows... mess around with it... maybe you could make a new product for stoners and make some money

 

Every time I try to make money, I eithor smoke it all away, or am too nice about it, and sell it for like 1 cent more than i got it for. lol.
