hey guys completely agree with you i work in dog boarding kennels in sydney where we also train dogs, and at any given time we have over 600 dogs. I have terrible bite mark on my arms and hands from, you guessed it, pomeranian, pekinese, chihuahua, maltese, bichon friese, toy poodle. I have encountered many "american pit bulls" lovely creature, buit the problem is that when they do bite (which is rare) the do much more damage than any other breed. as i said, lovely dog, but I wouldnt feel comfortable leaving a small child alone with one

Every "pit bull" I have ever ran across was one of the sweetest dogs I had ever met! I always tell my mother the only ones who usually attack you are the ones who are abused and are made to fight. Rottweilers are also known to attack people and their owners but same with them..all of the ones I've met were dolls. I think it's wrong for people to put all dogs like "pit bulls" and rottweilers in this big "WILL ATTACK YOU" category. Not ALL of them will. I don't know why all of the big dogs are feared. I guess because if they do actually get mad they could seriously hurt you unlike very small toy breeds whereas you are alot bigger! I agree that small dogs are the meanest. The meanest dogs I have ever been around are chihuahuas ! MEAN LITTLE CRITTERS! Lol. My mother has all shih-tzu's and they are sweet but one will snip at you if you bug him. Hehe.
