I was just wondering if this happend to anyone else. Sometimes when I don't eat for a while I get a feeling in my stomach like I'm going to puke. It only happens once and a while because I've stopped starving myself and started eating. The crappy thing is that whenever I finish eating I get the same feeling. I hate it and was wondering how othe people cope with this.

yeah ive had that feeling happen to me lots of times in the past. the only way to really make it go away is to make sure you consistantly get a regular, healthy diet....

that way you dont have to deal with that.

if it does happen, eat foods like crackers and things like that that wont upset your stomach too bad.

yup, I get that too. I also get a bit of a burning sensation if I don't eat for too long... either burning or pukey. not so much fun. I try to just have mild things when that happens, like crackers or juice or soup.

For years, I would feel nauseous if I hadn'e eaten in a while and I didn't know why. Finally, I found out that I am borderline diabetic. I have since learned to regulate my blood sugar by eating regularly. That means no skipping meals, no overeating, not eating too much sugar. Since then, I have been more careful about my eating habits, I have been fine.

I'm the same way, and like ihmurria mentioned, I get a burning feeling too. I eat on a schedule, so most of the time I avoid going long without eating. Most of the time I feel sick after eating anyways, whether I hadn't eaten in a while or not. I usually just try to eat slowly and then take it easy for a while after meals. Drinking water thoughout meals seems to help a little too.

I have the same thing and sometimes break down and stick my finger down my throat just to get rid of that feeling but it makes it worse int he long run. Now I eat more regularly and feel much better and eat whatever I feel like and make sure I eat over 1000 calories a day. I got fat doing this but my metabolism is starting to get back up there again and I can feel the weight coming off after only a month of eating regularly and semi-healthy
