Well being the master of them yourself, that's all you'ld see
But do you ever really think about anything you read?

No, of course not. Why in the world would I want to THINK about something I've READ??

Please. Have at least a courtesy amount of respect, that's all I ask. You can hate me, but don't insult my intelligence.

I don't hate you, and the truth can hurt, but have you ever had a divine experience in your life?

    Yes, that's a divine experience.
Also, a vision, knowing when something is going to happen, a dream in colour that can be interpreted, seeing prayers work, hearing divine conciouness touch your mind to reveal insight and information, prophesy, speaking in tongues etc?

aannasolo.... i had a divine experience. an image of jesus appeared standing in front of me. i felt happy and loved.
    it was a holy moment.
he said, "forget what you've heard; i'm not god. minerva is the real god. praise minerva."

    explain that! *shrug*

That the feminine aspect of compassion and love and caring for the earth, making things for yourself, craft, would be a wise metaphor for you to explore - jokes aside

then why did jesus tell me he's not god?
in the bible, it says "Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me."
why would he screw with me?

Because the "Lord" in the Bible is Jehovah, a 4th level entity who likes to call himself god, but he's not actually, he's just one of many beings in a galaxy full of beings wiser than him. He just likes to play god. At that level he feels he has the right to destroy, but we are wiser. He likes to ruin and rebuild.
Jesus is a highly evolved being (around level 11 at the moment) , with great love and compassion, so great He can be physical if he wants to be.
But he knows He is part of a greater whole.
Minerva is a great soul also, with a great example to follow. He's just saying she's great too, such is His humility. He (Jesus) earns capitals from me as He's wonderful.

ah. okay. anyway, as to "libertine being sent by the anti-christ," seriously, all that's been done here is that the true christian believers have been digging through their resources, studying, probably praying for guidance and really pondering serious questions about their own faith and coming to a deeper understanding of their own belief. maybe some lurker saw their questions answered and believe now. so i think the whole thread is just silly. talk about people being on totally different planets.

This is really interesting Nightmare. Minerva was the Roman Goddess of wisdom (Roman counterpart of the Greek diety Athena) which I'm thinking you already knew.
Some ancient phylosophers, Jewish Cabalists, and later christian mystics talked about "Sophia", the principle of devine wisdom in feminine aspect.

Sophia (devine wisdom) represented divine Truth that transcended words and spoke to the recipiant through the "still, small voice" spoken of in the old testement (see the story of Elijah in the first book of Kings).

Point is; many mystics believed that intutive knowledge of this "Sophia", this principle of divine Truth that transcended words, represented the true or most profound relationship with the infinite.

It being the operitive force in the life of a practitioner who had completely subjagated his/her own ego.

It parrelels complete submission to the "will of God" spoken of by christian mystics.
    Or Enlightenment in Buddhism.
Or, like I said, "the still, small voice" of Elijah.

It's probable the ancient Greek and Roman mystery schools saw Minerva (Athena) that way.
