I just started burning them myself, and I want to keep all the sticks together in an open jar instead of in their grouped plastic packaging. Is this going to funk with the way they smell?
I have found that storing incense in plastic packaging preserves the scent more than if it were to be stored in a well-ventilated area. But it takes a while for the scent loss to occur, so I wouldn't let that stop you.
Nah they will be ok. Just aslong as they stay in good condition and none of the other smells get on the others.
I would put a lid on the jar. The oils from the incense sticks will evaporate over time leaving you with a stinky wood burning smell but not a lot of fragrance, when you burn
I have too, mainly because I have so many different kinds of incense that I don't have the space to keep each in a different jar...
