Has anyone here gone to school for this, or knows somone who has? I am thinking about taking clases, but Im still not sure. They would also have to be internet courses.
Also, do you know anyone who works in a radio station.

    Hi

I did not go to school for Broadcasting, but I do work on the tech side of TV and a good friend of my is an assistant producer on a radio morning show here in Los Angeles. If I can help you, let me know.

    I'm taking Broadcasting-TV,

i know its not the same as Broadcasting-Radio. But there are some similarities
what i whould do is try going to a local radio/TV station and start voluntering

or see if you can get a coop placment in the media industry thats what i did,
that way you can get a feel for whats like.

But i'm not so much in it for the broadcasting i'm more for the TV production part.

I was thinking of either editing or camera operator.
I was thinking about going to Ryerson university for brodcasting and TV production.

Afterall ryerson has a excellent reputation for media studies.

But after talking to some people at my coop placment they said that the college level is alot better because you learn more hand on aspects that aren't covered in the university level.

In augest i start at algonquin college in Ottawa for Brodacasting-TV
    www.algonquincollege.com,

    hope that helped
