Would you classify this music as rap? My friend listens to Limp Bizkit and it sounds like rap to me.

they used to be, the newer stuff isn't great, but I like everything before and including the green album (though that's the worst of the three). Really, they just got progressively worse, in my opinion.

    anyways, my favorites:

    DMB
    Jack Johnson
    O.A.R.
    Carbon Leaf
    Dispatch
    Cat Stevens
    Steve Miller Band
    Wolfstone

(at least as of right now)

What's wrong with the Dire Straits? Mark Knopfler is an amazing guitarist...

it's too hard to choose ...
I choose sometimes only a part of their carreer 'cause some bands loose a part of their power, faith or inspiration or some other became commercial and plastic rebels (aerosmith for ex.)

    The Byrds (66-68)
    Jefferson Airplane (66-69)
    Cream
    Led Zep (69-73)
    Beatles (65-68)
    Rolling Stones (65-73)
    Iron Butterfly
    Deep Purple (until '75)
    Aerosmith (74-76')
    The Who (65-72)
    The Hollies (66-68)
    Buffalo Springfield
Pink Floyd (all the albums expt The horrible of '87)

oh damn i remember it was five band to choose only... and it's only the begining...
There's not an actual band at all! I live in the kaleidoscopic old dimension
