Nugget, nobody is saying anything about space lizards. This is just one of many techniques employed to discredit a movement (especially a rapidly growing one) that seeks to expose a plot (or yes, conspiracy) against someone with tremendous power and influence. Obviously, his job is to protect these people, which is exactly why his first sentence when replying was "Absolutely nothing". He could have started it with just "Some idiots claim..." but instead chose to start with "Absolutely nothing". It's these small things that speak volumns.
