its right here...right now.. you won't be able to find it anywhere else at any other time, except right here and right now....
Well, how do I get there when it's there? Do I have to go there then? Or do I stay over here right now, even when it's there then? I don't understand... What about over there a second ago? I think it was there too. Although right now, over there a second ago is a unique place that exists in my mind, although it no longer exists over there a second ago, cuz that's merely part of my minds perception of now. Although it did actually exist a second ago. So, like I was saying, zen leads you out of now, even when you are in now, so when is zen and where it at, yo?
its always right here and its always right now... the past is gone and the future doesn't exist...its all right now don't trouble yourself with worries of the future our memories of the past...its right now...I don't think zen leads you out of the now, it free's your mind from everything allowing you to live in the eternal present.... its a concept popularized by Ram Dass ( he has a book titled 'be here now') but I think he originaly got the idea from his old chum bhagavan das (who wrote a biography called 'its here now')
The point with Ram Dass ( nee Dr Richard Alpert, associate Prof with Timothy Leary) is that he and Leary sought "enlightenment" as a result of their LSD hallucinogenic experimentation experiences. Indeed each of those involved in the initial LSD research "dropped out" of mainstream society and into a more personalized life exploration experience away from capitalism and the maddening crowd. That is where the hippi phrase "turn on, tune in, drop out" originated. Leary continued and promoted hallucinogenic "research", while Alpert/Dass sough connection without drugs after his encounter with his guru in India. That LSD has had profound spiritual effects on those who have had full psychadelic experiences I think is the whole point of this topic. However Dass, as well as many others, sought the "greater reality" without drugs only after seeing it with drugs. Such a process is validated in the book "DMT the Spirit Molecule" by Rick Strassman, M.D., who mentions that several "higher initiates" of his (ex)Buddhist community having joined the monestary after LSD hallucinogenic experiences. As well there is ample evidence that religion, if not all spiritual experience, originated from the use of hallucinogenic substances in ancient times. That psychedelics were made illegal only after it became clear that they changed people's perceptions of reality, especially toward commercialism and capitalism, is of note and interesting. The US govt wouldn't want people finding out that there's something more to life than the Holy Dollar, would it now? And fundamentalist religious wouldn't want the truth revealed, either!
Yes. The past is part of now and the future is what now will be when this now is the past. Zen is the existence of the past within the now. It is a broader experience of the now. The past is Zen, and now is now.
Right... I've experienced ego loss. I've guided others through ego loss. I've seen others wig because they could not let go of their egoes. What's with this "if you've experienced ego loss you would know how little any of us really know."? ... Even the enlightened know little compared to the vast amount of knowledge that exists, here, and whatever lies beyond here. I'm not sure you need to experience ego loss to know that though... that's sort of common sense. I've read loads of the words you speak of; I studied psychology and drugs on my own and in a university environment for a couple of years. Almost everything I've read on this thread that delves into the subjects I have studied is just re-hashed bullshit I've read a thousand times over. Thanks for the suggestions though. O and I assure you that I groove with the flow, if you knew me in real life, you'd know this . There's only so much of a personality that can be extrapolated from a few message board posts.
Just wanted to make sure the Satan fans here have read this thread. Make sure you read the introductory post, of course.
Hi Dan - may I suggest you read the information at the following web site http://home.iae.nl/users/lighnet/creator/overview.htm It gives a succinct overview of the situation in our galaxy and on earth, including the wheeling and dealing of the illuminati, freemasons, OTO and their dealings with the beings of draconia. Sounds like you might be ready for it. Might I just add that Bush and his father are also members of these organizations and knowingly or unknowingly work for the dracs.
Been there did that(at least quite a bit of it). Have you read my threads The Axis Of Evil Bush Did Not Talk About and The 666 Connection
mmm, there is also a really good web site around that link's Bush's name with 666 in an undeniable sort of way and his nickname in the Skulls at college was magog. The "axis of evil" is really a weapon of mass distraction, to divert people from their real aim, which is to get everybody numbered and microchipped, and to keep everyone in fear - "consuming, producing, consuming, producing" - to keep multi-nationals (ie. them) rich. The new ID card they are trying to bring in in the States and now here in Australia too, God damn them to hell, is a precursor of this. I was told GW Bush is the re-incarnation of Nero anyway...so what's the difference. Look, you are sort of on the right track, but Bush and his cronies all subscribe to that hidden axis of evil anyway. Bush was a notorious fornicator at college, they amass huge fortunes; Bush, being mentally challenged always looses it anyway, and utimately, they rule with contempt, ie. Bush calls the masses "the heathen", when in truth he is the heathen, not to metion a hypocrite. The children of light do not love the anti-christ and are not fooled. And the last thing we want is for the Book of Revelations to play over and over again. I really don't know how you can respect them.
It's pretty clear that you aren't getting it. Bush is only one man, he is not perfect, but he is not any kind of anti-Christ. Your cartoon looks pretty dopey. If in fact you are too, I would say lay off the stuff. Then maybe you will be able to think straight.
I would expect someone not enlightened yet to react that way. You are probably upset, that you have nothing to teach me.
Hay, I am only human. I watch Fox News and listen to people like Rush Limbaugh, because I realize that the political left does not have a monopoly on wisdom. In fact the political right probably has most of it. I look at both sides, because the answer to lifes problems is to the right of center. In time, I feel that you will realize that. Freedom, Personal Responsiblity, Compassion, and Brotherly(Sisterly too) Love is the answer. Open your mind, think for yourself. I think I've heard that somewhere before???
I am writing this partly in response to kayy's thread this is the end...! For those of you who have not bothered to take in my personal website, here are some more connections. You might want to read my posts on this thread and elsewhere to help youself understand. In 1620 the Plymouth Pilgrams came to America for religious freedom. They were nonconformists who did not want to become assimulated by the Church of England. They are historically known to be a society of friends. They managed to become friends with local American Indians, for a time. They held the first Thanksgiving in America together. Not long after that time in the early 1620's more people came who were not such nonconformists. It is they who brought on evils like the killing of Indians, witch burnings, and slavery. The hippies of the late 1960's and early 70's were also nonconformists. Where does Woodstock and the Dead Sea Scroll(the Damascus Document) play into this? Oh, in so many ways! I have talked about it a length on this forum already. But so many have selective seeing and hearing. The Damascus Document includes the numbers 390, 40, and 20. These same numbers are in Ezekiel, in the Bible. In 2010(not too far from 2012) it will have been 390 years since the Plymouth Pilgram settlement. I put these connections together in the 1989-1990 time period, which was 20 years after Woodstock(Joel Makower's book wasn't published until 1989). In the year 2010 it will have been 40 years since Woodstock. Woodstock was held out in the country in the area of Bethel and White Lake, NY. My home town is White Lake, SD. Historically, my hometown had 4 different names. It was railroad siding 36, then it was known as Windsor(English Royalty/Church of England/a brand of whiskey), then it was known as Yorktown, until finally White Lake was chosen be cause of the lake north of town. At my site there is a scanned copy of a letter written to me by Lewis Larson a farmer who lived in the Woonsocket, SD area. In 1987, while I was helping load small square hay bails for a truck driver, Lewis recounted to me a second hand story. But it was a very interesting one. Lewis went to St. Louis, MO back in the 1950's to attend a fellow WWII servicemans wedding. At the wedding, Lewis struck a conversation with a man who had been in the White Lake, SD area in the late 1800's. The man was part of a wheat harvesting crew. His boss was a very mean one. One morning in the late Fall, the man saw the perfect reflection of the town of White Lake, SD upsidedown in the sky, in a fog bank. The man was frightened by this, and he bummed a train back to his home in St. Louis. He arrived home just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. My hometown of White Lake celebrated it's centennial in 1982. The State of South Dakota celebrated it's centennial in 1989(the 20th year since Woodstock). The whiskey maker, Windsor was the only brand to make a special centennial bottle for South Dakota. This particular batch of whiskey was bottled in 1982 which was White Lake's centennial. Earlier in this thread I mentioned how Bethel, 8/15, and Woodstock connect to a I Kings passage. That passage also mentions a second festival held in Dan on 8/15 too. This connection, is one to keep me humble. Man has great potential for survival, but not without God's ways. The Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule are our food and oxygen.
Sorry to be the one to tell you, but the whole US of A is based on a lie of corporate greed and meglomania. Love is indeed the answer, that is not the question, but these agents of the illuminati (Rush, Bush, Rumsfeld et al.) all only have one agenda in mind. A fasict state of USA and the world. All their politics is based on the "politics of the bomb". Ever since the 2nd world, the USA has been holding a war somewhere in the world. And do you know why? Because alot of rich fat cats make a hell of alot of money from producing bombs, and hey they've got to use them somewhere right? Iran is now on the agenda, but I tell you now, it is a business to them, nothing more. The victims of their terror, are nothing more than human waste to them anyways. The USA are the axis of evil, and they use the media to corrupt the thinking of their people. You believe Rush - man you are brainwashed, no wonder you can't see what we are seeing. Here's some links to peruse to prove my point- http://www.bushflash.com/14.html http://www.bushflash.com/antiwar2.html http://www.bushflash.com/nazi.html http://www.atomfilms.com/af/content/whatbarrysays Oh and the political left, the ones who sorta do give a damn about the country, but aren't with the illuminati? At least they have their priorities straight. OH - also, by the way I love your sig. I live in a town like that right now, canada's like that too. But can you do that in America anymore? Now you know why. Because the public are shit scared of everything thanks to their media(s). Heaven on earth is about unlocked doors - not dropping bombs.
You are not thinking BIG enough. Some or all of the above is possible, but not probable. The details of who is at fault DO NOT matter. If the world is to live in true peace and neighborliness there must be tons of forgiving and forgetting. We must never forget ourselves, when blame is doled out.Try reading my thread The Axis Of Evil Bush Never Talked About again. Have you actually listened to Rush at all? Don't knock him until you have listened to him. Follow up on the things he says. I have made it clear that I do not agree with everything he says, but he also makes a lot of sense most of the time. There is more than one political party that is telling us what to believe. Be sure that you are thinking for yourself!
