what is the scariest dream you ever had?? i had a couple that all occurred when i was younger. but the scariest one was i had a dream that a man w/ red curly hair and a scientist jacket and his "assistant" (that had really blonde hair, and real dark eye makeup and wore tight black leather clothes) took over my basement to kill people. he made me and my family his slaves and told us that if we ever left the basement he would kill us. he had a HUGE paper cutter (like ones in school) that he placed people on.. his "assistant" would cut their fingers off with scissors, then the guy would cut the people in half. my brother ran upstairs and tried to get help, his assistant grabbed my brother and placed him on the paper cutter.. me and my mom just stared as she cut his fingers off then chopped him in half.. my mom fainted and i was trying to wake her up.. and thats all i remember. it may not sound scary but i was scared to death for a really long time of this dream.
i've had freightening dreams about violence and rape, but the scariest dream was about my life after death. I died with my mom, from falling in a deep hole in the ground. We knew we weren't alive anymore, but we didn't know what else to do. We went on living in our house. She would cook her food and I'd cook mine, and every once in a while, the people living in the house would wonder where the smell was coming from. It wasn't too scary, but it did scare me. I realized that there's so much more to do and experience before I die.... and not being able to is the scary part.
yeah getting stuck in a dream is the scariest thing that can happen, i love getting scared but when you cant get out it just gets fucking freaky
very much the same, I was cowering in my living room and a wicker satan was approaching me, I knew it was a nightmare, but I couldn't wake up, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't break out of it, I keep feeling myself pull partially out and get forced back in, I finally ripped myself free and just couldn't sleep for the next couple of days (started halucinating) of all the dreams I've had in my life that one is the most concretly emblazoned into my mind, as id cauterized into a lobe of my brain, waiting for something and salad fingers rocks......
getting stuck in dreams is really scary. i know that i'm awake and i can even talk in my dreams and say i know i'm awake!! but i cant move and i cant get out of the dream until i try and sit up really fast.
Usually my scary dreams are not about me...theyre about my mother....she's usually in trouble. Like as if she's being framed for some crime, like murder or something...it's rather strange... Once i remember she was hiding some body and there was a bunch of witnesses (in my dream of course) and i was extremely worried because I didnt know what was happening. we were in a tree house and she was trowing the body off of it into the water below....and our neighbour (we actually had a neighbor in a tree house...how silly is that?) saw us and he thought we killed the guy or girl...or it.....whatever....so thats when my mom and i started hiding out... and then my dream ended...but thats usually the scariest dream i'v had...except for maybe when im on fire or something.
I dreamed I was trapped underwater, and blood suddenly filled the pool. Then, I heard a really loud heartbeat, and woke up with my own heart racing.
The most annoying dreams I've had occurred several years ago, when I was in the military. I had been late a few times, and was in trouble. It's not like being late to a civilian job, OK? You don't just get a pink slip. In the military, they can take your rank, fine you, restrict you, even throw your ass in jail. Get the picture? Well, I lucked out, and ended up with a couple weeks extra duty, which basically turns a 10 hour day into a 14 hour day. Anyway, I was stressed out, and it resulted in some of the weirdest dreams imaginable. And they were all the same. I would set my alarm and go to sleep. A couple hours later, I would have a dream in which I heard my alarm going off. I'd wake up, ready for work, only to see that it was midnight or 1:00. Damn. Back to sleep, only to have the same dream of the alarm going off. Wake up, it's 2AM. Shit. Back to sleep, same dream, wake up, it's 3AM. And so on, all night. After a few days I was a wreck. This shit went on for 2 weeks. I was about ready to go see a shrink.
The scariest dream I ever had was I was running through a burning forest and I was being chased by rapid bunnys and skelitons who where trying to kill me.... thats all that I remember, happend a while ago. And I told my mom and she got a dream bool where it trys to help you figure out what your dreams mean. And she never figured it out niether have I
Well, my scariest dreams ever are kind of hard to explain. They happened when I was young, sometimes during a fever, sometimes not. No visuals, no sounds. The best I can describe it is like the opposite of claustrophobia, to a dramatic extreme. Blackness. A void, like outer space. And a complete realization and perception of infinity. Absolute infinity. And it was more overwhelming and terrifying than anything I've ever experienced. And I always woke from these dreams screaming. It's hard to describe this in a way people could understand. I've heard dreams like this described as night terrors, which really aren't dreams. I've also heard it described as hormone-induced panic caused by puberty. Well, I haven't had one since about the age of 15, but I don't think it was related to puberty, because I remember having them as young as 4 or 5.
i think the scariest/weirdest dream i had was a year or two ago when i dreamt i was on holiday in cornwall and was just sitting in the car park facing the beach when i picked up the paper and my best friends face was on the front and he'd been killed in a hit and run accident. it was so horrible because i dreamt talking to his mum aswell and everything and when i woke up i had actually been crying in my sleep.When i got into school that day i gave him the biggest hug ever in the world!!

I've had a lot of messed up dreams. Whether or not they scare me all depends on my perception of fear in my dream. One time, I was with friends in my bedroom, partying or something. I looked out my window and there was a demented looking woman standing out there. A bunch of scary little creatures that I can't describe began to enter my window. It was very random, and a little scary to think about, but in my dream I was laughing uncontrollably and having a good time, so I didn't get scared. My scariest dream that I can recall was when I had just returned from a field trip on space with several people from school. We were on the bus and I looked down, then I looked up, and everyone was gone. I ran outside and couldn't find anyone, tried to open a door, but it was locked, and then all of a sudden, it became light out(it was nighttime). The door dissappeared, and a man with a scary grin on his face started to inch his way towards me. I began to hit myself to wake up because I realized it was a dream, but I wouldnt. The man dissappeared, and then all of a sudden, came out from behind a wall and was about a foot away from me. I thought he was gonna kill me. Then I had one of those dreams where you think that you've woken up when you really havent. Didn't scare me. The dream may not sound scary... but I was in a state of panic in my dream.
i remember this dream from when i was little little... it was like me and my grandma (who died just a few days earlier) and my cousin. we were running though the woods, and it was pitch black, except for a weird green glow on everything... well, there was something chasing us, and we were having trouble staying together... so we got separated, and i had to climb under this stick.. (which for some reason, i could tell it was bad, there was red scary ant looking things on it.. i cant explain.. it was like a vibe it was bad, wrong!).. i had to climb under a stick so the thing chasing us would devour me... god it was so scary... i still dream it like once a year... its so weird.
Ive summed up a few that I remember, I ussually dont have Nightmares anymore, but the few that I remember really scared me. 1. me and my brother went to a playground, this ws when i was really little, then all the people there where burnt to death, and I jus freaked out and ran around screaming for help, then awoke. 2. I was a soldier in WWII and I for some reason went to run to another spot, when I got hit by bullets and fell down, and the next long while in my dream I was just laying there crying, asking god to help me but I wasnt getting an answer back, this went on till I woke up. 3. I had a dream a long time ago that I was in an alley and people where chasing me, then they dissapeared and satan came out of nowhere and make me jump off a cliff, I woke up just before I hit the ground. 4. I was getting the electric chair as death sentence. thats the only part I remember from that one, but the fear I felt in that dream I have never felt before, or since that dream occurred.
