oh no beleive me i have great respect foe anyone who is boh open minded & rational..and a "true" christian too, but theyre just so rare

SOARING EAGLE, I think we are responsible for our thoughts be they random or not. I agree too that real christians are rare. Going to church does not make one a christian nor praying to GOD ( however we percieve Him or Her to be ) I was raised a catholic and we had to go to church. No choices there. As I got older I began to question the whole belief thing. I have come to realize that I (personally) feel that religion is fine if it is helping people, but on the other side of the coin< I feel religion seperates people and to me that is not being Christian. I Think that God (again our own perception of what this is) is what we are within , feeding our spirits with love and happiness and loving all mankind. I think we evolve with love. We are responsible for our thoughts and actions. So much for saying the devil made me do it. LOL You are a deep person Eagle and I enjoy your witty wisdom. Keep posting. Peace and love to you.

then once again i have to ask, how can you claim something you do is godswill & not your own whenever it goes against the basic rules of your personal beleif system..
example..a preist i talked to told me his sister was raped & thsat rape was god teachinng him a lesson, so the rapist was doing gods will so therefore he not only forgave the rapist, but thanked him for teaching him a lesson & renewing his faith (yea i know it made no sence to me either) he also went on to say it was gods will that his sister suffered that pain & gods will that she killed herself..& i asked how is that gods will & he just replied cause all things happen according to gods will

well my living cat is the 1 true cat, because not only does she posses the all knowing spirit but in her infinite wisdom she remained in the flesh ro walk & purr & rub up against us so that we may know she is the one true cat

that is a false prophesy taken from the text on the back of the purina cat chow box which was eliminated from the approved diets of all "real" cat worshipers except the persianites which is a false religion th true prophesy comes from the warning label on the box of worm-be-gone which clearly states that "the worms will die & be expelled within 2 weeks, & a second application may be nescasary" now from this we can infer that 1..in cat time 2 weeks=5 years 2 in cat god time 5 years =5000 years & with the scnd application (givin that the 1 true cat is lazy & content to pur) you see that my prediction is accurate
