"Which do tou prefer, mac or pc" "i'm a mac guy" "i'm a pc guy" i hear these things the time, but i don't understand them. isn't a mac also a pc? how couldnt it be? its personal, its a computer. its a personal computer, its a pc. You could just as easily substitute the word "windows" for "pc" in the above quotations and they would make a whole lot more sense and for the record, im an apple guy til i die
Well, MS is stealing the better MAC ideas away for Vista, and I am sure they will continue to rape ideas - IE7 - Firefox, AD - Novell, MS search - Spotlight... Therefore, I am a Gates Geek all the way. I've always wanted to be a pirate...
Well there are two books on the market. One is called "Windows For Dummies", and the other is called "MACs Are For Dummies"... heh... j/k... Come on guys... They do the same thing... And I might point out that MACs are going to start using Intel processors soon, so that line will be even further blurred by the time Vista final hits late next year...
what the hell guys...not that i dont appreciatr you expressing your opinion about which is better....but that doesnt exactly answer my question.
I agree... Some people like paying more money for something that will cost them more money in the long run... to each his own, I guess...
i love my pc but i wouldnt mind a mac, gotta love the unix shell, but i love the plethora of games for the pc so... a pc for play and a mac for work
I have a laptop with Mac OS X for picture editing and art stuff.. PC laptop with Windows XP for school and games.
From what I've read though, it's not going to be x86 or remotely like that, just made by the same company.. Basically IBM said fuck you we want more money, cause they don't care too much about making a few chips for Apple, when they also make the chips for Nintendo and Sony, a much huger market. So no, they won't be the same. Myself, I use linux.
because billy boy gates screwed some people and consequentially other people were screwed and now macs can't run windows without a lot more effort than it's worth (why would you want that anyway, if you have a mac there is a reason) and pc's (to my knowledge) cannot run mac os at all totally different os' different uses, different of idiot friendly, different system architecturem different feel, macs are prettier, for a lot of things pc's are more functional imo of course I still use dos whenexer possible so I'm an antiquated nut job..... chdir......
