Free Accommodation sites

Just thought these might be of interest to travellers:

• Place2Stay.net - Place2Stay.net is for anyone who wants to spend a short time during their travels staying with a local person for free
• Global Freeloaders - an online community, bringing people together to offer you free accommodation all over the world
• CouchSurfing.com (submitted by soulofthetrees33) - You can use the network to meet people and then go and surf other members' couches!

If you know any more, feel free to add them (...free accommodation sites only though, please)

 

Very cool concept...after thoroughtly investigating, I decided to join the Place2Stay site.

 

I can't think of anything to stop you from joining the two sites (if you wanted to that is) - that's what I did anyway.

I'm a member of Place2Stay.net and globalfreeloaders.com...both are great sites. I'll have to check out the other one...again,thanks DSLC...great links.

 

Here's another great site,if you all are interested. The only catch(which I wouldn't mind at all)is that most of these are a place to stay in exchange for work. Mostly on organic farms...I think it's a great program,both the farm owners and the travelers get something they need.
