Sorry about the length, but it jus a long story, if ur too lazy to read a couple paragraphs then dont even bother. My best friend is a small dealer, and he never buys more then an ounce or a half ounce at a time, and ne never makes more then a 50 dollar profit. I live in a small town and the only things cops have to do is bust underage parties and give speeding tickets. But at the last party that got busted my friend tossed his piece and the police suspected it of beeing his, however they have no proof. so now they are making all these speculations about him beeing tied in w/ this gang in a town about 20 minutes from here. all they have been doing lately is following him around in his car, so he cant even go to the store w/out a cop following him. jus last night a cop followed him for about 6 blocks until he finally pulled up to my friends house where we were all at, and as soon as he was about to get out of the car the cops turned their light on and told him to get back in the car. as soo as their "back up" arrived they questioned him and he gave them permission to search his car(which the found nothing). in the end he jus got a tobacco ticket. they said they pulled him over because aletter on his liscence plate was hard to read, but theer was nothing wrong w/ it at ALL. They police have been talking to all the people that were at the party and telling them they are "on to" my friend and they plan to arrest him the day he turns seventeen. It jus really pisses me off because he is not even close to be a big dealer, and the only reason why he OCASIONALLY does it is for the free weed he gets out of it. The fuckin cops around here are rediculous.
Police... you either get cool ones who care about people's safety against muggings and such, or you get twats hell-bent on authority... From my experience in the UK it's more of the latter unfortunately.
i have never had a bad experience with cops... everywhere in australia the cops are really cool... the one's that care about peoples safety. when a cool cop is cool no-one really cares about it but when a cop is an arsehole then absolutely everyone gets worked up about it and its a REAL shame because deep down... ...Most cops are cool yeah but arsehole cops should be evaporated, they are a waste of space on this earth
Wether you like it or not, you must admit... we NEED cops in society. And I know its not right for them to be doing that shit, but they are just doing what they are ordered to do, its not 100% their fault. Ive met some cool cops before, even smoked weed with one =)
digitalldj- its a small town in northern illinois bernie- SOME cops are cool...unfortunately, none of them are around here. sirtokesalot- i couldnt agree w/ you more, it jus pisses me off because of how they speculate all of this stuff w/ out any facts.
in my area if you get stopped and co operate with the police then they just caution you. well thats what friends have told me, i've never got caught. just be really polite, speak clearly and don't use slang and they're decent to you.
There are hardly any cops out there who actually care about your well-being. They just want to get you busted for the highest punishment just so they can meet their quota or even get a raise. Pres. Carter once said: "Punishments shouldn't be more damaging to your life than using the drug itself." They just dont see that you are enslaved to the drug and in need of help. Its not you but the drug pullin the strings.(well i know mj isnt like that but its a good excuse)
