anyone know of any good examples of this
genre(sp?)? I've heard anthologies actually exsist.
Stories 1 or two pages long. (1 or two??
how weird. it just came out like that.)
    anyways, any tips?

I'm writing a short story in the writer's forum if you're interested. It might be a little weird, but by all means a look. Obviously don't expect anything beyond amateur capacity. Other anthologies I would definately recommend is the biggest influence in my writing, H.P. Lovecraft. He wrote short stories, but not 1 or 2 pages. I would recommend that you approach it with an open mind, because some of my friends found him difficult to understand. It's like looking at a modern painting and you're not quite sure what you' re seeing. Anyway, somewhere on this book forum, someone kindly posted a link in one of the Lovecraft threads to a site where you can read his stories without having to buy the book. Still, if you like his style, it's best to have a few copies of his books for those cold wintry nights when the wind is howling outside...

Thanks for responding, but I'm really looking for a specific kind of work.
    The Short-short fiction kind.

    P.S.
    H.P. is great, gothic, &surreal.
I'll have to check out your work at a
later date cuz I'm in a hurry.
    But it will be done!
    thanks again!

That is short fiction. You can also look into Zen koans and such. That would be a one page or so story with a whole lot of moral.

I pick up my books at the local thrift store. Most of the time you can find books with a bunch of short stories in them. Most of the time they will be from authors you've never heard of but the stories are still good.
