Have any of you taken independent study courses online through a college? I'm going to be starting in about a couple weeks. First I'm taking environmental science (one semester) and then I'm taking astronomy (one semester), both through BYU's "distant learnig" course (because I'm not mathematically inclined enough to take chemistry at my school, and I'm a senior this year and need my science credits!). I'm just curious if anyone else has done this, and if so, which class(es) did you take?
I took an addictions class online for my BSW a few years ago. I liked it okay. It was nice to be able to log on and do your work whenever you could/wanted to.
