I am a musician and my aim is to make it in the music business - I have a band that I have VERY high hopes for and all members are equally as enthuiastic and actually want to make it. Here's the problem - my drummer is starting his second year of A-Levels - i.e. he's not going to have much to fall back on if it all goes balls up and therefore needs to go to Uni for 3 years to get a qualification that isn't completely useless. I on the other hand am starting IB (international baccelaureate) and can leave school and REALLY get down to business musically at 18 and still have a VERY good fallback. In other words, there'll be 2 years when our drummer will be in Lincoln (quite a way away) and myself and our bassist will have nothing much to do except find a tempory drummer for gigs (in terms of absolutely everything else our current drummer is irreplacable) - I don't want those 2 years to go to waste but I'm wondering how the heck I'll use them. Any suggestions. Blessings Sebbi
