I recently got arrested for possession of rolls I had like 70 of em along with some green leafy substance. I'm probably looking at life if that's how it goes in this state...

This is very depressing... will the world ever figure out that there's nothing wrong with responsible drug use? Rhetorical question I know. Gotta hope that one day these draconian drug laws are repealed and people can do what they want without fear. Yes is it fucked up. But what's more fucked up is that the majority of the people who are opposed to this sort of legislature aren't taking any action to change it, other than bitching and moaning about it (myself included). Whether it's because they are lazy, or feel completely helpless, or are complacent with the lawmakers being in the pocket of the pharmaceutical companies.

 

So if I understand this RICO act, someone narc'd that he was running shit for the family, and because the US (the plaintiff) was "financially harmed" by this (not getting the money for taxes on the drugs) he gets charged with a violation of the rico act?

Doesnt help that he did almost 2 years of a 5 year sentance a couple years back for basically the same thing..

I was arrested and accused of having them in my possession... so I might be fucked, I dunno I have a good lawyer. I'd say this guy is in a lot worse predicament.
