    well, no matter how hard you try, you cant mimic the vocal ability of a janis joplin or otis redding... that IS genetic, and talent is not genetic.

    "easy to please, hard to impress"... you may not think they are legand material, but it is just nieve to say that they are talentless

    so the ability to sing isn't tied in to your genetics at all? wow, with some training ill be able to sing with such a soulful voice... ill be just like janis!... uh, have to say i disagree.

    when you say "cool beans" it remind me something of Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band...those words are in their 67' album......it is intentional ?

    if Janis was alive ... Janis will not be a legend at all ...it's as simple as that.
