Intentional Communities Database

I feel a bit silly posting this, because I'm perhaps one of the least-travelled people on this forum; nor do I have any experience of living with Intentional Communities (although some aspects of certain ones very much appeal to me). I just thought people might find this a useful resource. From the website (...italics mine):

icdb.org is a self-serve, open, free, multi-lingual and paperless database/directory, serving intentional communities, and their organizations, individuals and groups searching for intentional communities, and curious aliens observing the evolution of the earth's future civilization (and/or beyond) from afar...(I love that bit )

communities and networks - advertise yourself here by creating (and maintaining) a record in the database and filling in the various categories. find potential members by searching for seeker records.

community seekers - search for communities and other like-minded seekers. create your own seeker record so other seekers and communities can find you.

To what extent this site is affiliated with ic.org , and it's own directory, I'm not sure. I prefer icdb.org anyway, for personal reasons, but ic.org seems to be a really good resource as well.
