cant really think of many, but I would have to say John Travolta. his old movies kick ass(Grease and that one where he dances alot), but his newer movies where he is a bad guy really kick ass Im sure there are better but my brain isnt working right now
Yeah John travolta is kewl...and by the movie where u said he danses alot is it Saturday Night Fever???
Ummm... ya. Anthony Hopkins Jack Nicholson Sean Penn George Clooney Jack Lemmon (he was probably my first favorite actor and I got his autograph when I was 11) Bruce Willis Tommy Lee Jones [ugh... the medallion was horrible(I think that was the movie, or was that a Jet Li or Bruce Lee movie... lmfao)] Walter Matthau Orson Welles Robert Deniro Joe Pesci Will Smith (he's a better actor) George Carlin (yes... obscene, but a smart person) Al Pacino oooooooh... what the hell was his name (he played tony soprano) All in all... I do like the weird shit like Hopkins and Nicholson do (Jack Nicholson is funny too) . I jump around in favorite actors, artists, musicians... My favorite producer is probably Jerry Bruckheimer... I guess... I have a few favorites. I guess I just like the older farts of the acting business...
cant forget Pulp Fiction. fuckin awesome movie. Samuel L Jackson is near the top of my list too. and there was another great movie too, where Travolta got a hold of those nuclear warheads.....
oh yea cant forget about Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino. Those are the 2 greatest actors in my opinion, i just had a brainfart earlier
HOLY SHIT!!! I forgot all about Marlon Brando. Makes me recall the lyrics to Pocahontas by Neil Young. ~ George
Dont really know who I'd consider the best of all time, but my favorite actor of all time is Henry Fonda. He's in my favorite movie of all time "12 Angry Men". But the obvious choice would be Al Pacino, Robert Deniro, or johnny Depp. No offense intended to anyone.
My favorite actors of all times has to be Ryan Gosling(The Believer, Murder By Numbers) or Johnny Depp, just because he is so damn sexy! He's a pretty good actor too. I love Ryan Gosling though. He is awesome.
Well okay then, lung failure prompted by too many big macs. Same diffrence. I agree about Depp. He's okay but nothing earth shattering, if he wasn't (reputedly) 'hot', people probably wouldn't even notice him. Don't know about all time, but I think of the current hollywood crowd Joaquin Phoenix is the best. Very talented but modest about it. The fact I find him very attractive has nothing to do with it . i gotta put a vote in here for robin williams...who's seen Awakenings? mrs. doubtfire? who else could pull that one off? i saw him as Popeye in an old popey movie, and of course he was awesome. if not williams, i'd say travolta
I agree with Robin Williams... also add Terry Gilliam (together with the rest of the Monty Python crew), Ewan Mcgregor (for his role in trainspotting), Mila "Jovovich, Harrison Ford, a bunch of russian actors, the girl who plays Lola in Run Lola Run" (name escaped my head), Another vote for Depp, Benicio Del Toro (Wonderful actor, highly underrated), Gerard Depardiu, the girl who plays Amalie (another name escaping my head), and others I have missed.
You're obviously not much into films or else you wouldn't have judged him by "Scarface". Pacino: Godfather, Godfather 2, Dog Day Afternoon, Looking for Richard, Scarface, Devil's Advocate, Scarecrow, Scent of a Woman, Heat, The Insider, Glenngarry Glenn Ross, Serpico. And you consider Robin Willaims the best actor of all time? Unpredictable? Playing a crazy person, yes that's a stretch for him, playing a teacher? He did that three films and it was basically the same character, playing a psycho while Deniro played the ultimate psycho in "Cape Fear" and "Taxi Driver". Yet, Pacino and Deniro helped mold the new generation of actors, while Williams is just a comedian turned actor. Watch more of his films and then make the declaration.
yes but his gangsta movies kicked ass. i am a nonviolent type of person, but Godfather pts 1 & 2 and scarface are probably my favorite movies of all time. and mostly because of the great job pacino did acting
