I ordered a charm the other day. It's a small, silver leaf, with blue opal set in it. Once I receive it, I plan on making a necklace with it, but I'm dry of ideas. My first impulse was to string a choker using white glass seed beads, but then I decided I'd rather do something a little more intricate. My next idea was to use hemp or some sort of fiber and make a chain of Josephine knots, but I'd like something a little more polished-looking than hemp. (Think Galadriel in Lord of the Rings: cool, airy, elegant and ethereal.) Any ideas would be very, very much appreciated! Love and kisses <3Pioggia
With such a beautiful centerpiece you might want to keep the rest of it simple, to keep the focus on the pendant. Maybe get some seed beads, or slightly larger accent beads, that bring out the colors of the opal, and use them among the white beads. I can't remember what that LOTR necklace looks like.
