I have a few plants growing, that have just started, and one of them which is standing at 2 1/2 inches tall, fell over, it seems healthy, leaves are a good green, but the upper stem is light green, and the bottom is pretty white, yet I have 2 other plants that are 3 inches tall and standing up straight, I was wondering if anyone knew why it would have fallen over if its under the same light as the others, and they're taller but still standing.

Also, what's it mean if the stem is kinda a maroon color?

Seems a few plants have white stems, others green, and some maroon, was wondering what they each meant.

Try putting a stick deep in the dirt close to the plant so it can lean on it or put more soil in the pot to support it buy a fan for ciculation & to gently blow your young plants reducing room temp will result in slower but thicker sturdier growth but thats easier said than done this is 2 of my clones that went all wilty due to heat stess.

About 5-8 days under Mh at 12-13 inches away the clones were put there just for the photo.

Well shit, that gives me hope, I was getting worried when comparing mine to other pictures of the same age, but mine are the same age and look the same, just a half inch to an inch taller with bigger leaves under flouros.

I hear flouros are great for growing seedlings, but after a week or 2, they are really useless? Is there any other alternitive to that without the costly MH and HPS?

Cause untill about another 3-4 months, all I can really afford is flouros, so I'm only using like 80 watts, I had 160 but my other 80 is useless now since the lights went out and I havent gotten the chance to get another one.

Regardless of what people say you can grow plants under fluro's, it will just take longer and produce a lower yield, Fluro is something you dont wanna use for profit weed you sell. Since the MH and HPS grow heavy duty big ass budz.

growing plants under flouro is like a human not having enough air.

if youre growing under flouros, be nice, and give them PLENTY of flouros. (insidesun.com has a 400watt HPS + Ballast + Batwing reflecter for $90.00). personally, if you spend money on anything in your grow. it SHOULD be lighting.

i picked myself up a couple a while back, for $100 each. definatly worth it
