"Magic" is such a loaded word, everybody want some.... BUT: what is magic, this mysterious, amazing thing that can be like some kinda miracle....? Magic is related to mercury (the planet). Mercury is ruling virgo and gemini. We left behind us the age of pisces (age of christianity, cults, suffering, sacrifice, dream etc....) and entering aquarius. The opposite of picses is virgo. it means that they are very closely related (the axis virgo/pisces), they work together, they are dependant upon each other to make things happen. Now is time for new priorities, magic maybe is just something to not get too dependant on. Other stuff related to magic: money, illusion, power.... It can usefull, but do not overuse it.... or you will be it's slave.
The conscious application of one's will to affect a result or conclusion, using will to affect Nature and circumstance, usually willing a selfish desire to be fulfilled, using ritual to concentrate the mind's will.
So every time I get up and change the channel on the TV, I'm doing 'magick'? Sweet. No wonder so many morons say they're into magic; it's easy!
According to Crowley, yes. Every intentional act is a magical act. But magic functions, like everything else, on different levels.
I guess too that there are many millions of morons who are not interested in magic - too busy screwing their brains up watching brainwash tv.
Not everyone. I want to stay as far away from Magick as I possibly can. Just being within 10 feet of a used Black Magick book will give me headaches and nausea. Some of us have had a lot of experience with it and want nothing to do with it. The crap that is being peddled on TV isn't really magick, it's just smoke and mirrors to seduce.
Kitty, I have more experience than you can possibly imagine, much more than I am willing to divulge. Oh, I've "gotten" it, alright. Your pandering will not dimish my revulsion nor make me question my own experiences. So while you may see it as a desirable ability to have, it may be because of your lack of hard experience. I am almost certain that if I were to divulge the nuances of my experiences and those of many people I have known, and know, that the hair on the back of your neck would stand up and your mind would scream in recoil, fear and terror. But that's okay, I wouldn't expect you to believe anything I say. So I'll just bow out of this conversation, possibly leaving you with the impression of a madman. So be it.
how old are you? 14? 16? i've been practicing witchcraft for 14 years. "lack of hard experience!" what, did you get burned by your silver ravenwolf teen witch kit?
You sound like a condescending prick. How can you possibly know what someone unknown to you can 'possibly imagine'?
