Hmm... I go with Aftermath and Exile on Main Street. I obviously couldn't fit all of their albums on here, so feel free to say them in the post.
I voted 'Flowers'.........what is that??.....I live in Britain;we never had an L.P. called 'Flowers' released. We had: 'Between The Buttons'. I voted Flowers because I assume 'We Love You' is on it?. In August 1967 'We Love You' /'Dandelion' was to be the last installment of the 'Glimmer Twins' before being detained at Her Majesties' pleasure at Brixton Prison.Luckly they were reprieved at the 'Court of Appeal'. 'We Love You' proved a bit pre-emptive.
I like Between the Buttons the most. Flowers is the American rip-off version of the aforementioned album.
It would have to be between Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers, with Beggar`s Banquet coming in third, I think. Exile on Main Street is overrated.
well it still got my vote...but that's just right now. took me a while though to check that box with Stcky Fingers right above it
I think it's got to be Sticky Fingers... With Exile On Main Street not far behind. Can't beat the Mick Taylor era if you ask me! :H
I think Their Satanic Majesties Request should be there. It's really not as bad as the critics say. And it has my favorite Stones song, She's A Rainbow on it. So, that would be my pick.
Their Satanic Majesties has been reviewed unfairly by most critics, but I don't think its as good as its fans say it is. half-assed psychedelic pop sellout crap, if you ask me.
hmmm my favorite stones album is sticky fingers. i like every song on it and listen to it all the way through. exile has alot of good songs on it but i find exile to be the stones album to put on if we are sitting around drinking etc. i think some girls and their satanic majesties request are kinda snapshots they captured the band doing what they wanted to do at that time instead of their usual formula. but yeah definately sticky fingers followed by beggars banquet.
