just be careful that you're on the same ground, i had a casual sex relationship that my partner assumed had become serious after it lasted more than a couple months. when things came apart she had some... problems. and guys can be just as fragile
I think it's fine as long as the other person knows whats going on... as long as it's not with someone who really likes you and you don't like them at all like that becasue that might crush the person's spirit... Might get a little upset about the whole thing... if he knows it's just casual..
I had lots of awesome, extremely casual sex with my husband, when we first started "not-dating." He lived about an hour and a half away from me, but he'd drive down every weekend, and we'd party at a friend's house (as we'd been doing for months before the casual sex started), then go back to my dorm (or our friend's living room...it was a pretty libertine household) and fuck merrily, and frequently, for the rest of the night...then do it again the next day. It was great! Then we started calling each other during the week, "just to talk." (Not to check to see if we'd be meeting to fuck that weekend.) Then we started calling each other "Honey." Then the "g-word" and "b-word" started slipping from our tongues...and it all went downhill from there. :O) Now, three-and-a-half years and one forgotten condom later, we're happily married to each other, with a two-year-old son. If I could go back and do it again, I wouldn't. I think my husband is awesome: each day I have known him, I have loved him even more. But I do realize that, if he had been someone other than himself, the "uh-oh. Casual sex just got serious...now we've got a kid" thing wouldn't have panned out so well. So I guess that casual sex is what it is (tons of fun), as long as you're willing to take responsibility for whatever *might* occur as a result of it.
