hey all... next month(July) I'm leaving to go stay with my cousin for a while in Ruidoso, NM, check it out , see if I like it, you know, just to get out of Texas...anyway my question is does anybody know anything about Ruidoso, is it in any way a hippy town, with cool people, or is anyone from there or anywhere around there? Where in New Mexico should I check out once I get there? It will really suck to be alone, so I'll have to seek out some brothus & sistas to make new friends with !! oh well, any help would be appreciated peace, love, pot, & rockroll, Katy
Hippie Hi to ya Daytrippergirl, Check out Silver City, Glenwood, and Gila NM. There are plenty of laid back hippie types in the area. The vibe is soooooo positive and peaceful. Theres lots to do. Check it out !! My B/F and I hike in the Gila Wilderness out that way and always come across awesome folks. Thats where we plan to move when I am finish with my education. Hope this helps. New Mexico is awesome, the people are real laid back there. If you are in Albuquerque check out a bar called Stella Blue on Central street. Great bunch of people there. The land in Ruidoso is amazing, you'll love it
