It's already here. And I say bring it on. Crazy? Not really. Up until we started using our ancient resources, coal, gas and oil, life was very different. Since then? We've managed to destroy more of the earth and more species than imaginable, started and fought in countless wars and lost all sense of what is really important in life. Examples: The war in Iraq. The threats towards Iran. The power cuts we faced during the storms a few nights ago. The increased fuel prices. The increased domestic gas and electricity prices. The revolts across south America, the corruption and poverty in much of Russi and Africa. The IMF and World banks crashing of economies across the globe (recently SE Asia) linked o the US dollar, linked to the price of oil. Billions of tonnes of carbon emmssions. Millions of miles of tarmac. Billions of tonnes of waste burried in landfills. More time-saving devices. Less free time. Increased productivity? Greater stress, less family time and increased suicide rates. Anyone want to add to the list? Oil? Good riddance!
It's worrying to see that the majority of American preperations are along the lines of : "Buy a firearm"
The construction of the average desktop computer consumes ten times its weight in fossil fuels. a post industrial stone age...

We need to start living once again in harmouney with our great mother.
