what is more important: style or comfort or both? do you feel more comfortable when you think you look nice and are well dressed, or when you are wearing daggy comfy clothes do you not feel good coz you dont look as nice?
I find a balance between the two. When I buy clothes, they have to fit well, be comfortable, and look nice or else I won't waste my money.
I try to find the balance as well...I'm more comfortable in clothes that ARE comfy (I wear a lot of Levi's jeans and baggy cargo shorts), but that have a certain amount of style...at least that reflect my own style and personality.
My personal style is very comfortable: Skirt (preferably pleated), t-shirt, sweater, tights, and my kitten-heel shoes. I never wear pants, and the only denim item I own is a pair of cut-offs for when I (rarely) go to the beach.
some reason i feel more comfortable wearing really odd colourful clothing than wearing the usual plain t-shirts, i don't like dressing plain standard anymore, lol.
always comfortable! infact i remember that in the 8th grade my friend mikey said to me, "i love your style. its so ........comfortable." I was like "eh, thanks?"
ideally finding a balance between both... but given the choice, definately comfort over style. What's the point of wearing cute shoes if they're going to make you fall and break your leg? That just isn't cool.
I'd love to sit and rap about my commitment to comfort, but alas; that would make me a liar. I cannot express how many occasions I've found myself in the most uncomfortable shoes/corset/mini-skirt merely because I looked hot. I feel better about myself when I know I look good. I hardly own an outfit that is super comfortable and (I think it) looks good. When it comes to everyday situations, I tend to dwell on comfort a li'l more, but when we go out, I will constantly sacrifice comfort for style. Bella Donna <--- Slave to Her Style
I have my style, and my style is comfy, without looking well... pyjama-like... I am not the kind of person to dress in a jogging suit or pyjama-style at home, I always like looking good. But my style is comfy. I usually wear bellbottoms, and shirts that are made out of natural material (either linen or cotton), which ads to the comfy factor, as I feel uncomfortable in synthetics. my shirts are not to tight, but also not baggy, they have a nice form, usually tighter in the chest area, and looser around my tummy. when it gets cold, I am wearing my handknitted wool sweaters. (also no synthetic yarns, but either sheep or cotton or whatever, but no polyacryl, that's just disgusting, and bad smellin stuff) And I love wool socks. I even wear them in the summer (or no socks and shoes) they last forever.
same here! If i'm in a plan coloured tshirt i feel boring. Today i bought this really cute buttery soft navy blue fitted tshirt with a lil pocket on it...and i couldn't stand how plain it was so i painted a white peace sign on the pocket. I definitely find the balance between the two. I hate am usually most mentally and physically comfortable when i look good in clothes that hug me in the right spots, and back off in the right spots. I used to do the pj thing ALL the time, and it got extremely boring, given i love to express myself at every single chance i have. Now i have comfort and i look unique and sexy
