I'm new to the forum, so first of all...hello! I am a 34 year old girl (still can't think of myself as 'woman' yet) who has never tried any drug, including marijuana. I am curious now and am interested in trying it. But don't know how to go about it. I also don't know what to expect, hence my screen name (see below). Anyone care to help out there?
Do it with someone you trust, use a water bong (find a local smoke shop) and get a dealer you can trust. A standard dime ($10) of normal weed is about 4-5 grams. $20 gets you 9-12 depending on who you buy from. Hydroponic Weed (not sure you need it your first time) is about $20 a gram. Good luck sweety

Is it really that important for you to try it?.? If so do you know ppl who smoke? Are they good friends? Can you trust them? Will you be in a safe place? If you answered yes to these questions then smoke up. Enjoy. Pot aitn a big deal at all, but for a first time toker it's a good idea to fill these criteria. And get some nice weed and dont smoke too much, smoke from a Bong, only a little at a time and let it come on before you have more. A massive hit of some good hydro would be enough to freak out any first time user. Have fun, Peace, TFS
To avoid freaking out, smoke slowly so you can ease into the high. And also, you might not get high for your first time. Make sure you have food because you'll be hungry! And water or something for cottonmouth (when your mouth gets really dry after smoking). And.. enjoy it..just try to relax and have fun!
My husband who is not a smoker took 2 hits(Shot guns), He was so stoned nothin brought him down. He tried eating, shower and when that didn't work he went out side dead winter (colorado) and still did not come down. It was very good weed. So I would not try a bong on your first time. Be totally at ease. And start small. You don't want your first time to be bad.
i think the only reason people dont get high first time is a)they inhale incorrectly, and/or b) they do it with alchohol and so dont really aknowlege the effects, and/or c)they jsut dont realise theyre stones caus they dont know what to look for. i know all of them are reasons, if not definitive reasons.
Thanks for all the suggestions, ideas, cautions, insight... ...one thing I'm concerned about is Marijuana laced with something else (i.e. angel dust). How would you KNOW???? I KNOW that I don't want to try that drug!
If you're tokin' with a friend, someone trustworthy, you shouldn't need to worry at all. I'm kind of lucky that my dealer also happens to be my best pal, so I can pretty much depend on him to get pure quality stuff that's not chemically laced or anything.
