September already, wow, doesnt time fly? this month, most of us start another academic year in school, college or university....but nothing beats the summer hols, its the best time of year! This summer i went interrailing around portugal and spain. I could have gone to more countries but will do so next summer...i also got a part time job when i got back, been out partying a lot, gave up smoking, started eating more healthy, had my hair cut, started taking bass lessons, been out and about more frequently, and even got a tan!!! this summer has been one of the best summers i ever had! so how was this summer for you? did you enjoy it? did anything special? went somewhere nice?
Summers been alreeet I suppose, I'm in Malta at the mo visiting parents, been working most of the summer cos Nazi bosses wouldn't let me have time off work, I just blagged these 2 weeks off here !!! Went on a 5 day sea fishing trip which was nice, didn't catch much but didn't care, just being by the sea was good enough for me.
i went to Porto, lisbon, Portimao, Lagos and many other little towns around the south coast...beautiful!
this summer was very boring. i did nothing. i played computer games and watched movies mostly. occasionally i sat in the garden and read or went for walks or went cycling. i went to a mini music festival up in somerset a week ago and lived in a field for that time. now itis less than 2 days til my birthday and all the kids are going back to school on monday so peace and quiet until i fuck off to uni. i dont like hot weather. id rather it be winter. dont mind going out in winter. hence why i never made it to spain with my mum and sister. they love hot weather. im like the black sheep of my family...
to be honest, i've really never been a summer person, so im pretty glad its over, im far more at home with a nice cardy and a big scarf i love winter! people always say that you prefer the season that you were born in, and im a capricorn so that definately makes me a winter person! weee
im bitter cus i brought a convertable car for summer fun but failed me fricken driving test and my next one isnt untill end of october, yeah great laugh. on the plus side ive only got one top that i like, and its too hot to wear it in the summer. roll on winter thats what i say.
I started the summer getting ridiculously drunk at Blackpool, met forumers and got ridiculously drunk at Beautiful Days, and ended the summer getting ridiculously drunk at my friend's leaving do. So all in all, I can't remember most of it and I'm going to have a hangover all winter

Things sound a lot better for you than at the beginning of the summer Claire, it please me to hear you enjoyed. Grabbed a couple of weekends at festivals, but usually work, got to feed and clothe everyone somehow, beaches after 5:00 were good though, seems to have been a lot of sun this summer.

Hey I'm new, so hello to everyone. I had a cool summer, Got married, went travelling on honeymoon (USA, Hawaii) Also managed to get away to Spain (I'm going again in 2 weeks) Did Leeds Festival last minute as got free tickets, had plenty of BBQ's and Garden Parties. I'm so sad summer is over, I'm back to Uni in 3 weeks but I'm moving house soon so thats something to look forward to
