i am a christian, just wanted to say that b4 i begin

why do ppl that dont believe in god get so bloody upset at the fact that they arent going to heaven and that there may be a possibility of them going to hell?
If ppl dont believe in god, why blame god when times are down, and praise themselves when things go well?

Why do ppl say god doesnt exist and tell christians that, when christians cant prove that god exists in the spiritual form (not Jesus)?

why doesnt everyone get their head screwed on properly about what they believe.

Geez if ppl dont like the idea of God, then stop all ur complaining "hes sending us to hell, hes sending us to hell". Dont worry about it if ur so against God...(accentuate the sarcasm there for full effect).
We christians just reckon that God isnt gonna be too happy with ur choice. So shoot us for believing that.

Dont say "god doesnt exist" and when life gets blue say "fuck god". Ur just a hypocrit. U either believe in god all the time , or behave like a fool saying damn god for what he's done when u dont think hes there.

We cant prove god exists, just like u cant prove he doesnt. So dont come up to us thinking god doesnt exist, and then say how do u believe in a god. Coz honestly, we cant give u rock solid proof. We have faith. Faith is hard to explain. If u dont have it, dont say "god doesnt love me, he wants to send me to hell", because if u were that concerned that the all loving father was going to send u to hell, then perhaps u are capable of believing how loving he is.

So in summary, if u dont like that god loves u and that he wants u...and ur concerned about going to hell, then perhaps there is a way for u to see that god is lovingly letting u decide what u want to do, and how u want to live ur life. u all have the choice, but dont get all shitty, when ur way involved us believing that God doesnt like it.

on the other hand, if u dont think god loves u and u dont care about hell...
IF U DONT LIKE WHAT WE THINK, LUMP IT...dont argue with us, ur just left to ur own foolish ways, be PROUD of it and move on.

I know exactly what you're saying Gina. I have read over some of these posts and a few of the non believers who insist on there being no God, can't prove it. Nor can they prove that we were not created by God above.. All they want is to think they're right, no matter what.. If they would read the Bible it clearly states what will happen, and some of it is taking place right now..

For you non believers who choose to put down the christians, I'm asking you to 'prove' there is no God and then we will admit you're right and we're wrong.. Furthermore, you can't see the wind but it's there.. It's funny no one ever questions the presence of the wind.. You can't see God, but you can see his work, look around you.. Do you people really believe that one day out of nowhere a male and female just happened to drop in and have sex? I don't think so..

Also, some of you don't believe in God yet you make endless threads/posts about him.. Before I was a christian I sure didn't sit around thinking anything.. I wasn't aware of him therefore I thought nothing about him.. How can you dislike someone who 'doesn't exist'?

Well, I nead to agree with the starter of this thread, I see a bunch of people here getting offended when we say, " Without Jesus, you're going to hell."

I think a major part of the problem is that those who make up the majority of so caled 'Christians' today fail to show it by example and only pay Him lipservice. For example, 'Christian' missions where desparate starving people must sit through a 'service' in order to get fed. Not very Christ like.


Another major problem is that so called 'Christians' go out of their way to confront non-believers insisting they be saved. As I recall it Christ taught mainly by example and by answering questions asked of Him, not through confrontation.

 

What I find offensive even though I consider myself a Red Letter Christian is that my state of grace or lack of it is between me and my God/ess and none of your biz. 'Without Jesus you're going to hell.' sounds very much more like a threat than an expression of Christian love. btw; Can you show me where Christ said there is a hell?

 

fair enough, get christianity out of schools, the law, public organisations....anything that inadvertantly has influence over others..and stop baptising anyone unless they have enough maturity to make an informed decision, then I for one, will leave you all in peace
