yay looks like i'll be going up this year! did anyone go to the national folkie this year? that was real fun never been to woodford i am excited .
there was some aboriginal dancing that was cool...they were dressed with coke bottles!... watched some short films that were interesting...and scary! I love the minute silence with the candles...that was so beautiful...and dancing in the sand in front of the ampitheatre....some of the bands were really great...i love the smell of the food stands...and the freakstreet was a crack up! And camping there makes it so much more fun! I dunno...woodford's just great, hay? There is so much to do and see and everyone is havin a good time..
bernie, thats heaps cool! might see you there! clockwork - yeah, that's what I love, it is an entire package, there are so many amazing things in one place, and the people are awesome - best vibes! Last time, I really like Xavier Rudd, The Cat Empire, Missy Higgins, Jeff Lang, the blues jams, the choir, the fire event, dancing in the sand rocked!, numerous awesome musicians that I found by accident. loved it all. however, think we will try to get there a bit earlier this year, we ended up about 2km away! that's a bloody long way in the wee hours of the morning haha
