Me and my buddy were sitting outside last night, drinking a few beers. It was a completely clear sky outside, and we were just staring at the stars. I looked over in the distance, and saw what I thought was a star, but it started to blink. I figured it was just a plane, but I kept watching it. It would blink white and red, and my buddy said he could see a faint green, but I couldn't. It would blink, then move across the sky. It was moving east, following a straight line horizontally. But occasionally it would move up a bit. Then quickly move down, or to the left, or the right. It had sort of a sporadic movement. Although it was following a rough straight line (which is why I thought it was a plane) it was also moving in other directions, then go back to its rough line again. I'm still not sure what it was. My friend suggested a satellite, but that wouldn't explain the sporadic movements. Same with a plane. Anyways, I thought I'd share that story here. Maybe someone has a more reasonable explanation Kris
sometimes its hard to keep your focus on objects, especially very distant objects, after "having a few beers" and they can appear to move a little in ways they aren't. if it overall followed a straight eastward path and only jumped about a bit periodically and returned to its normal path, most likely it was just a little bit of hooch playing tricks on your eyes. but then again, who knows...maybe it was something unusual
What nesta said. With the addition that it probably was an airplane. Airplanes have white, red, and green running lights that they use at night.

i'm pretty sure you're right..now that i think about it, it probably was an airplane.. i wasn't exactly sober, that's for sure...
I wouldn't have used such an open tone about it. There are several govenment agents monitoring these boards. What they were doing that night, you don't want to know, and it isn't safe for me to tell it here anyway. Keep your eyes open freind and your mouth closed.
