suggested forum name change

i suggest changing the name of this forum to "Pointless Threads" because it's simply a bunch of pointless, mostly stupid threads by people who are "lyke soOOoooOOOOooo complty stonedr!!!1!!!!11!"

vote yes if you support the name change, no if you do not support it

and remember, people can see how you're voting!

 

I love the golden girls so much I got them on dvd.

no I don't think we should change the name. who cares if their pointless threads. just don't read read them. I Just love smoking pot and I like reading the peoples stoneds thread. I find it funny.

i didn't suggest getting rid of it and i didn't say i don't think people should have a place for posts like that. just that the posts were, on the whole, rather pointless. hence the name change, which i feel would be appropriate and lend a better sense of clarity...

 

well when you're really stoned most things posted are rather pointless to begin with... and i think most people realize this is the random thoughts area of this part of the forum... so i dont see the reason for a name change

i think labelling it as pointless threads would remove the chance of a good thread coming along every now and then.

The Big Bang was pretty pointless really, unless you are of a religious cast of mind.
Some people might more politely class the way these threads unfold as " stream of
consciousness. Alternatively, the moderators could ban anyone who seems of a superficial cast of mind, or you could find out whether MENSA has a message board.
As to the "Golden girls" (going off topic briefly), I also enjoyed "Soap".

Science is starting to prove what all the religions at thier mystical roots suggest one supreme consciousness, they are saying the zero point field, a field of energy that connects all subatomic matter occuring in vast potentials. It exists beyond time and space in the past present and future, scientists are saying it containes encoded all the information of whatever occured in the universe. It also contains our consciousness which exists in all things, although it appears seperate, it is actually unified.

So basically the big bang has whatever point we intended, one not likely communited through words, but through realization and understanding.

It's nice that science is proving it, but the most personal thing is connecting with it, and co-creating a life of less suffering.

Like the herbage, that evolved with the plants while we evolved, and our adaptations and mutations connected in that the THC stimulated our brain in a way that is so beautiful. Like they fit together at the deepest energy levels, this is the zero point's intelligence. You can criticize it, saying why is thier suffering? And I understand that, I get mad at it when certain things are happening. It understands that. It's all in the personal relationship you develop with it.
