I was saddened to discover that Mel Pritchard (drummer with BJH) passed away at the beginning of this year. I always felt that BJH were a very underrated British band (though they were huge in Germany). Can't help but think of all the great (and very melodic) songs that they produced through the years. My personal favourites were 'Hymn' and 'In Memory Of The Martyrs'.

Does anyone else have their own reflections of Barclay James Harvest and what was your favourite tune by them ?

"Pools of Blue" would be my favourite

A very beautiful track with it's Strawberry Fields style Mellotron, actually the whole track is quite Beatlesque
