Newbie Needs Help!!!!!

Hey Was up every one, I am kinnda New to this site and growing.
So far i like what I am doing but need some help. I have a nice size closet
(8x2x8) And I set it up really good, but I didnt have any black paint or white paint to put on the walls. so I put up some black garbage bags with black duck tap. Is this ok?? Also I have a 2 foot florescent light But dont have the money to buy anything better is this gonna be a good sorce of light for the plant through out its life cycle??? ( i think the strain I have will grow good under floros)

hey,

what you want is the most reflective material you can find. black being the least reflective and white being the most. most homes have at least one can of flat white paint laying around that you could use. flat white paint is the cheapest and one of the best reflective surfaces you can use.
one two foot flouro would be good for starting seeds, but that is about it. you can buy used flouro fixtures dirt cheap and often you see them in the "free" section of buy and sell mags. use one warm and one cool tube in each fixture. with 8 two light fixtures(600+ watts) you could get enough light to grow some solid bud

The thing with the lights is that I am kinda short on money and dont have alot of room in my closet (I am using only one side of the closet) I think I could possibly put one more 2 foot floro fixture but thats it. Is this still not gonna be enogh light.

p.s What if I add the extra fixture but put up refltive mylar will this be good enough.

 

hey, how come there in an enclosed plastic box? and how come their so short, but seem be growing pretty full?
